Painted Echoes:

This is the personal site of Lavonia Martin. Here you'll find my illustration, tutorials, adoptables and a lot of goodies like wallpapers and cliques for friends who visit the site. The illustrative part of my life has been a large part of sharing fun stuff with the community, so I want to

keep a lot of stuff on the site that people will be interested in or can use.

Von's Illustration Gallery:

The illustration gallery features all my illustration from 2005-2007. You'll see various fan art pieces, original pets and creatures, fine art type imagery, comics, etc. Gallery does contain some mature imagery, i.e. nudity, language, and violence.

My classic art influences are from Art Nouveau, Impressionists and Post-Impressists. Then also heavily from Shin Hanga woodcut artists. In the contemporary art world, I'm very interested in lowbrow art and fine arts.

I am classically trained, with some abilities in sculpture, ceramics, photography, printmaking, drawing, painting, and digital imagery. I mostly like to create 2D imagery, with drawing, painting, printmaking, or digital materials. Please see the Gallery section to view my illustrative works. The World of Echoes™ [Adoptable Pets]:

The World of Echoes™ is a virtual world with adoptable art. I want to leave the World of Echoes open for the possibilty of other avenues as I always have with pets, to allow for a process for evolution of art.

Rainbow Sprouts in the News! New special edition adoptables dug out of the gardens and went to explore the World. Now they are lost in the World of Echoes without a grown up sprout. Please help find them and give them a good home.

Five little Rainbow Sprouts are on the loose: Red, Green, True Blue, Lavander, and Yellow. There are hiding under leaves throughout the pages of the site.
